| Company Brief |
Asia Asser Recovery (AAR) Pte Ltd started as a trading business of used products. In the same year, AAR was issued with the Second-hand Goods License by The Singapore Police Force to carry out buying and selling of used products legally. In addition, AAR had also obtained the license issued by the Ministry of Finance as a scrap dealer for the government departments.
Our major vendors include: Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore, Singapore Airlines Ltd, Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore, Singapore Telecommunications Limited, Singapore Technologies, the Ministry of Education (primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges and polytechnics), etc.
AAR (formerly Known as Xport Recycle) secured new procurement agreements and long-term collection agreements with many vendors such as Singapore Airlines Ltd, government schools, education institutes, ministries, etc. In addition, we have also been engaged in the disposal of asset services that includes collection of industrial equipment and machinery such as forklifts, automation equipment, workshop machinery and laboratory testing instrument. As at the date of this prospectus, we have signed a long-term collection agreement with the National University of Singapore and the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore respectively. These agreements allow us to collect all scrap items including furniture, computers, AV equipment, electronic components and consumer products in the respective department. Thereafter, these items will be transported to our warehouse for the reconditioning, recycling and recovery process. This operating process is environmentally friendly to ensure that Xport is socially responsible for the community. After much effort, the process became fully operational and obtained ISO14001 certification in late 2000.
